Instructions for Applying to the Findhorn Community Semester Online:

1. Submit your application form online

2. Have a transcript sent from your school to the address shown below.

3. We must receive two recommendation forms: one should be from a professor or an academic advisor. The second one should be from your parent or guardian (if you are not legally dependent, your second recommendation may come from either an academic or a personal source.). You may download recommendation forms on this website. Please ask your referees to mail or fax them to the College independently. Alternatively, referees can place a completed recommendation form in a sealed envelope, signing across the envelope’s seal. You will then be able to submit them yourself or with your own application.

4. Your personal essay (included in the online application form).

5. Please submit a photocopy of the photo page in your passport, if you have one.

6. Upon receipt of your online application, we will call to arrange a telephone interview.

Deadlines for Applying to the Findhorn Community Semester

We have a policy of suggested deadlines shown below. If you know you want to do this program, it is a good idea to apply as early as possible to insure a place on the semester of your choice. If the deadlines shown below have passed and you wish to apply, please contact us to see whether we are still accepting applications.

Decisions and Next Steps

We will make every attempt to process your application as quickly as possible. Getting all of your application materials to us in a timely fashion will enable us to do so. After we have received everything, including the letters from your referees, we can give you an answer in two weeks. If all places on the program have been taken, you will be informed immediately.

Submitting this application form is free. Upon acceptance, we will request that you send a non-refundable deposit in order to confirm and hold your place. Your deposit will be credited to the full semester tuition.
