The College is a registered provider of Continuing Professional Development for Scottish teachers 

Our CPD programmes bring like-minded professionals together in an environment which offers space for self-exploration and reflection along with the development of practical skills.  Activities are facilitated by professionals from backgrounds in education and personal development.

We offer 1-3 day  programmes, weekends and customised In-School Sessions for all courses. In School Sessions are part of a wider initiative to encourage the practice of professional well-being in schools.

Findhorn Teachers RetreatProfessional Well-being Days offer an individual teacher the opportunity to think, feel and connect with Self, along with practical skills to help reduce stress and manage a professional  life.  Enjoy a gentle introduction to meditation, inner reflection, and creating supportive groups in the workplace.

Non Violent Communication for Teachers

NVC is used in schools worldwide to give teachers simple steps for peaceful communication and a new way to work with parents and pupils. It is used to resolve and prevent conflict, improve relationships and reduce stress in the classroom.

Three modules that can be taken separately or combined to provide over 60 hours of coach specific training. Coaching models will be combined with experiential learning and practice.   To consolidate the learning, each module, is supplemented by follow up conference calls  and an individual mentoring session by telephone.  Open to anyone with an interest in coaching and will be particulary helpful for individuals working with others: as a leader, manager, therapist, teacher, social worker etc.  For details see:  www.self-factor.com

Prices: £295 for each of the first two modules and £365 for the third module (includes meals, accommodation and follow-up sessions).   Non-residential £245 and £295 (includes course, some meals and follow-up sessions).
