Offered in collaboration with Gaia Education and Global Ecovillage Network, this training is hosted in the heart of the Findhorn Ecovillage & Learning Centre in NE Scotland. It is a comprehensive course developing skills that are needed to enable cultural change for sustainability.
The Gaia Education curriculum explores the four core pillars of Design for Sustainability: the Social, Ecological, Economic, and Cultural/Worldview.
The Findhorn course begins with a Mindfulness and Leadership training for Participatory empowerment.
Throughout the course, arising issues are approached from many levels and angles. The experiential exercises, explored theory and strategies are given practical application to 'real life' case study projects.
Gaia Education draws on the experience and expertise developed in a network of some of the most successful ecovillages and community projects across the Earth.
